In 2020, VSSE decided to sponsor the meal cost for some students of a Myanmar school (緬甸臘戌 果宣學校). Some money was raised for this project from Challenge 12 hours 2020 and Virtual 10K Run 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the political situation in Myanmar, this project has been on hold.

In July 2022, we were informed by Sowers Action (our HK agent helping us doing projects in China and Myanmar) that they had decided to cancel this project. VSSE will use the fund already raised to sponsor other education projects.
