Challenge 12 Hours 2020

Dear Friends and Members,

During the unexpected pandemic (COVID 19), most of the activities and events are forced to stop until the authorities to say so.

On the other hand, the education sponsorship of Vancouver Sowers Society of Education (VSSE ) are never stopped. We still need your support to move on and make it better.

Under the current circumstances, the event for challenge of 12 hours could not be held. We still urge all members, friends or party from hiking folks to show your support to VSSE.

Winter Jacket 2019

Jackets distributed to a school that VSSE rebuilt (雲南常文敏小學)

The VSSE board decided in Sep, 2019 to sponsor 400 winter jackets to poor students in mountainous areas in China to get through the harsh winter. Upon pledging to our members and friends, we received overwhelming responses and we took up the 239 jackets HK Sowers Action had remaining. That is, we sponsored a total of 639 jackets. A great thank-you to the sponsors.

VSSE Charity Karaoke Contest 2019 苗圃慈善歌神大賽

The 3rd VSSE Charity Karaoke Contest will be held on July 7th, 2019 (Sunday) at the Pink Pearl Chinese Restaurant. The fund raised in this charity singing competition is to help the education of students in impoverished countries and regions. The organizers hope that each participant will raise a minimum of $200. The deadline for registration is June 30 of this year. Please see the poster for details.

溫哥華苗圃行動教育協會第三屆慈善歌神大賽將於2019年7月7日(星期日)假珠城大酒樓舉行。這是一個以助學為目的慈善歌唱比賽。主辦單位希望各參加者籌募最少二百元作教育基金，報名截止日期為本年六月三十日。詳情請查看海報

 

Wah Kwong 華光 Visit Jun, 2018

In June, our board director KK visited 華光女子中學 (Wah Kwong Girls High School) at the JiangXi province of China again. He met the students that we have sponsored in 2017-2018. And coincidentally, HK Sowers Action were also there for Wah Kwong’s graduation ceremony.
